Love lucy folk - her pieces are so bold yet feminine.
Handbag, heels or flats?
All of the above! Heels if I need some extra sass, I live in flats but they’re usually adorned in studs or furr and I love a fab bag - im forever impractical as its all about the beauty of the item for me!
Your biggest extravagance? A full sequinned frock purchased 6 months ago that I have never worn, but when I do bring it out it will have a great time!
Pants, skirts or both?
It’s a mood thing, probably skirts.
Beauty essentials?
Everything! I’m a junkie and mecca is my fave place. Right at this moment it’s the dyson air blade, hands down!
Perfume?
Im a little lazy and forget to wear it. Byredo gypsy water is my current go to.
What keeps you up at night?
Work!!! I’m a creative so the admin of business is a lot.
How much caffeine is too much?
Usually 3 and then I get the shakes! (haha!)
How do you keep innovating the floral-style movement here within nz?
For me its about pushing boundaries, I love the art of presentation so its always been at the forefront of blush and our ethos. Progressing into the overseas market excites me and creating more amazing partnerships with like-minded businesses.
Where should one go for some rest and relaxation?
A day spa!
You’ve been in the floral game for twenty years. What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve received?
Focus on the big picture and don’t sweat the small stuff. I am learning daily about the intricacies of business and for me surrounding yourself with the skills of others to compliment your own is key.
What’s the best gift you’ve been given?
Hugo! (my son!)
I’m on my way to a party, how can I really make an entrance?
Have confidence and be yo self! Helps also to have a fab outfit!
Where should I go to feel inspired?
At the moment I need a little peace - so being near the water helps me focus.
What’s the key to hosting a great party?
Inviting a great crew, setting a great vibe, and bloody good music!
